Terms of service.

1. The service

Fikra API is an OpenAI-compatible inference account. It routes requests to third-party model providers, adds account, pricing, payment and usage functions, and exposes the result through an API. Fikra does not train the models it serves and does not own the GPUs. Model availability depends on upstream providers.

2. Accounts

You must provide a real, deliverable email. One account per person or organisation. You are responsible for activity under your keys and for keeping keys secret. Agent-created accounts are provisional until a human claims them. Delegated tokens are scoped and expire.

3. Billing

• New accounts are prepaid. A first top-up of at least $1.0 activates paid limits.
• Prices are published per model in USD per 1M tokens. The live catalog is the price list.
• Card and mobile money top-ups are both charged in KES at KES 133 = $1, and the wallet is credited in USD. The dashboard shows the exact KES charge amount before payment.
• Agents may pay per call with x402 USDC on Base.
• Existing subscriptions are honored under their original terms. Public pricing does not create a new subscription.
• Credits and balances are not cash and are not transferable, except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the service for illegal, harmful, deceptive or malicious automation, to bypass limits or billing, to infringe rights, or to degrade shared infrastructure. We may suspend or terminate an account for abuse, with notice where practical.

5. Availability

The self-serve service is provided as-is with fair-use limits. No formal uptime SLA is provided on the self-serve plan. Status and incidents are published on the status page. Enterprise terms, including any SLA, require a signed agreement.

6. AI output

Models generate probabilistic output. We make no warranty about accuracy, reliability, safety or fitness for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it or showing it to end users.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lacesse Ventures is not liable for indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost profits, data or business interruption. Total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid in the three months before the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate for material breach, abuse, non-payment or legal requirement. Prepaid balances may be forfeited for abuse, subject to applicable law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
